Our MissionAdoration - the call by, acceptance of, and response to God
The Denton ACTS Community exists to honor and adore our Creator, love the people around us (at St. Mark's and Immaculate Conception Parishes, and the greater Denton, TX community), grow closer to God through a study of His Word and the Sacred Tradition handed down through His Church, and foster a spirit of service toward God and his People. ACTS helps build the body of Christ by developing stronger bonds between members of a parish community, and helping them grow closer to our Lord. The primary way we achieve this is through our semi-annual Men's and Women's Retreats. The RetreatsThere are separate retreats held for men and women twice each year. Each retreat is a three-night encounter with God and other members of our church community. The retreats run Thursday night through Mass on Sunday morning. The Fall 2008 retreats are scheduled for the following dates:

This siteDentonacts.org is the source for information on the Denton ACTS Community. Anyone who has attended an ACTS retreat may register as a member , to post articles, links or other information to the site that is relevant to the entire community. Keeping in Touch (Mailing Lists, Prayer Requests, etc.)All past retreatants and team members are also encouraged to participate in the mailing lists. We have separate lists for the men and women, as well as a list for all members of the ACTS community. These lists are the fastest way to get a prayer request to the entire ACTS community, or to simply keep in touch with your fellow ACTS brothers and sisters. The lists are open to all past retreatants and team members, as well as our priests. If you aren't already a list member, and would like to join, please register here with your name, email address and phone number. We'll get you added to the lists asap. |
